The Calpain Inhibitor IV controls the biological activity of Calpain. This small molecule/inhibitor is primarily used for Protease Inhibitors applications.
A potent, cell-permeable and irreversible inhibitor of calpain II (k2 = 28,900 M-1s-1). Also acts as an inhibitor of cathepsin L (k2 = 680,000 M-1s-1).
