Application

Adiponitrile is a key precursor for manufacturing nylon-6,6.[1] It can undergo catalytic hydrogenation to form hexamethylenediamine (HMD).[2] ADN shows promising potential as a solvent for electrolyte solutions used in high-voltage lithium batteries due to its high anodic and thermal stability.[3]
