Formation of polyfluoroalkylimidazolium salts.[2]

Application

1,1,1-Trifluoro-3-iodopropane may be used in the preparation of quaternary salt, 1-methyl-3-trifluoropropylimidazolium iodide.[3]
Used in a study of the quarternization of pyrazine, pyridazine, and pyrimidine.[4]
