Bisphosphate 3′-nucleotidase (BPNT1) is a magnesium-dependent enzyme. The gene encoding it is localized on human chromosome 1q41 and has ten exons. The BPNT1 gene spans 35kb of genomic DNA.
Immunogen
Peptide with sequence C-RNYDYYASRVPESIK from the C Terminus of the protein sequence according to NP_006076.4.
Biochem/physiol Actions
Bisphosphate 3′-nucleotidase (BPNT1) has been shown to cleave the 3′-phosphate from 3′-5′ bisphosphate nucleosides and 3′-phosphoadenosine 5′-phosphosulfate.
