General description

Platelet-derived chemokine (C-X-C motif) ligand 7 (CXCL7), also known as neutrophil-activating protein-2 (NAP-2), is a member of a subset of seven chemokines. The protein is produced in platelets and its structure contains an N-terminal glutamate-leucine-arginine (ELR) motif. It acts as a ligand for the CXC chemokine receptor 2 (CXCR2). NAP-2 facilitates the migration of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) to the injury site. In addition, it also aids in monocyte recruitment during atherogenesis. The Human NAP-2 enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) kit is an in vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative measurement of human NAP-2 in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, and urine.
The Human NAP-2 ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) kit is an in vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative measurement of human NAP-2 in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants and urine.

Immunogen

Recombinant Human NAP2

Application

Human NAP-2 / CXCL7 ELISA Kit has been used in enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay to quantitatively measure NAP-2/CXCL7 in serum samples of chronic myelomonocytic leukemia (CMML) patients.

CXCL7 is an important chemoattractant cytokine, which signals through binding to its receptor CXCR2. Recent studies have demonstrated that the CXCL7/CXCR2 signaling plays a promoting role in several common malignancies, including lung, renal, colon, and breast cancer. However, the regulatory

Platelet-derived chemokine CXCL7 (also known as NAP-2) plays a crucial role in orchestrating neutrophil recruitment in response to vascular injury. CXCL7 exerts its function by activating the CXC chemokine receptor 2 (CXCR2) receptor and binding sulfated glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) that regulate

Strategies for improved homing of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) to a place of injury are being sought and it has been shown that natural killer (NK) cells can stimulate MSC recruitment. Here, we studied the chemokines behind this recruitment. Assays
