Gel filtration markers kit contains five vials of proteins and 1 vial of blue dextran for calibration.
Application
Gel filtration markers are used in protein chromatography and gel filtration chromatography. Gel filtration markers have been used to study glucocorticoid-induced lymphocytolysis as a model system for apoptosis within the immune system. Gel filtration markers have also been used to isolate Polygonatum odoratum lectin, which showed remarkable anti-HSV-II activity towards Vero cells, cytotoxicity towards human melanoma A375 cells and induced apoptosis in a caspase-dependent manner.

A cDNA encoding tomato fruit lectin was cloned from an unripe cherry-tomato fruit cDNA library. The isolated lectin cDNA contained an open reading frame encoding 365 amino acids, including peptides that were sequenced. The deduced sequence consisted of three distinct
Two basic proteins isolated from Clerodendrum inerme Gaertn. are inducers of systemic antiviral resistance in susceptible plants.
Over the past fifteen years, antibiotic resistance in the Gram-positive opportunistic human pathogen Streptococcus pneumoniae has significantly increased. Clinical isolates from patients with community-acquired pneumonia or otitis media often display resistance to two or more antibiotics. Given the need for
