Application

Disopyramide phosphate salt has been used as an internal standard for plasma sample analysis by mass spectrometry.[1] It might be used as a test compound in a teratogenicity study.[2]

Biochem/physiol Actions

Disopyramide is found to stabilize the cell membrane by altering the action potential. It might act as an antiarrhythmic agent.
