Application
Dextran blue may be used as a macromolecular model protein in the preparation and characterization of biostructures such as microspheres. Dextran blue binds lactate dehydrogenase isoenzyme-5 (LDH-5) and may be used in assay development. Dextran blue is used in various tissue diffusion assays.
