General description

Metrafenone is a novel benzophenone fungicide that could be used against powdery mildew and eye spot in vegetables and fruits.

Application

Metrafenone may be used as an analytical reference standard for the determination of the analyte in:
  • Vegetables by gas chromatography coupled to electron capture detector (GC-ECD).
  • Honeybees by liquid and gas chromatography combined with tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS).
  • Animal samples and earthworms by LC-MS/MS.
