General description

Glucose Fermentation Membranes are substrate-carrying ID membranes used for rapid identification and differentiation of Glucose fermenting organisms through characteristic color reactions. The membranes contain chromogenic substrates, which serve as the basis for microbe differentiation by color. The principle is based on an acid indicator reaction in which specific glucose fermenting organisms will exhibit yellow color.

Application

Glucose Fermentation ID Membrane is used for rapid detection & confirmation of glucose fermenting organisms in water and food samples. They find their application in various sectors such as the food and dairy industry, water industry, pharmaceutical laboratory testing, cosmetic industry, environmental and sanitary testing, clinical diagnostic, etc.
