Nylon filters are compatible with a broad range of solvents. Two types are available: 1) Nylon Membrane Filters with pore sizes ranging from 0.20 to 1.2 µm, and 2) Woven Net Filters with mesh openings ranging from 5 to 180 µm.

Our 5 µm Nylon Woven Net Filter (NY054700) is commonly used in the automotive industry for cleanliness analysis.

    1. Nylon and nylon mesh are naturally hydrophilic and do not require an additional hydrophilization process.

    1. As listed on the Product Detail Page in the PROPERTIES and DESCRIPTION sections, this product is a non-sterile hydrophilic nylon membrane with a 100.0 µm pore size and 25 mm diameter. This product can be sterilized by Gamma irradiation or EO sterilization. This product is sold in 25 mm discs, not sheets or rolls.
