General description

Cytokine receptor-like factor 2 (UniProt: Q8CII9; also known as Cytokine receptor-like molecule 2, CRLM-2, Thymic stromal lymphopoietin protein receptor, TSLP receptor, Type I cytokine receptor delta 1) is encoded by the Crlf2 (also known as rlm2, Tpte2, Tslpr) gene (Gene ID: 57914) in murine species. TSLP receptor is a single-pass type I membrane protein that serves as a receptor for thymic stromal lymphopoietin. It is expressed in liver, lung, testis, heart, brain, spleen, thymus, and bone marrow. Higher expression levels are observed in progenitors and myeloid cells. Its levels can be up-regulated in the myeloid 32D cell line by granulocyte colony-stimulating factor. TSLP receptor forms a functional complex with TSLP and IL7R, which is capable of stimulating cell proliferation through activation of STAT3 and STAT5. It has also been implicated in the development of the hematopoietic system. It is synthesized with a signal peptide (aa 1-19), which is subsequently cleaved off to generate the mature form. The mature form contains an extracellular domain (aa 20-232), a transmembrane domain (aa 233-253), and a cytoplasmic domain (aa 254-359). It contains WSXWS motif (aa 201-205), which is essential for proper protein folding and efficient intracellular transport and cell-surface binding. It also has a Box 1 motif (aa 262-270) that is required for JAK interaction and activation.

Specificity

Clone 22H9 is a rat monoclonal antibody that detects Thymic stromal lymphopoietin protein receptor (TSLPR) in murine species. It targets an epitope with in the extracellular domain.

Immunogen

Epitope: extracellular domain
His-tagged murine recombinant TSLP Receptor Protein.

Application
