General description

A cell-permeable γ-secretase inhibitor (IC50 Aβ = ~10 nM in 7PA2 cells) with anti-aggregation properties. Prevents early Aβ oligomerization by selectively blocking the Aβ dimer and trimer formation.
A cell-permeable γ-secretase inhibitor that inhibits Aβ secretion (IC50 ~10 nM) by 7PA2 cells (CHO cell line stably transfected with APP751 containing V717F familial Alzheimer′s disease mutation) in a dose-dependent manner. Also exhibits anti-aggregation properties by selectively blocking Aβ dimer and trimer formation and subsequently preventing early Aβ oligomerization.
