General description
Dkk-1, Rat, Recombinant, consists of amino acids 23-270, fused at the C-terminus to a His•Tag sequence, and expressed in NS0-derived mouse myeloma cells.
Recombinant, rat Dickkopf related protein-1 (Dkk-1), consisting of amino acids 23-270, fused at the C-terminus to a His•Tag sequence, and expressed in NS0-derived mouse myeloma cells. The balance between Wnt signaling and Dkk-1 inhibition is essential for bone formation and homeostasis.
Biochem/physiol Actions
ND₅₀ = 0.1-0.5 µg/ml as measured by inhibition of Wnt-3a-induced (10 ng/ml rmWnt-3a) alkaline phosphatase production by proliferation of MC3T3-E1 mouse osteoblastic cells.
Warning
Toxicity: Standard Handling (A)
Physical form
Lyophilized from 0.2 µm filtered PBS, BSA.
Reconstitution
Following reconstitution refrigerate (4°C) for short-term storage or aliquot and freeze (-20°C) for long-term storage. Stock solutions are stable for up to 1 month at 4°C or for up to 3 months at -20°C.
Reconstitute to 100 µg/ml with sterile PBS containing ≥1% human or bovine serum albumin.
