A non-fluorescent peptidyl (DEVD)-Rhodamine 110-bisamide that acts as a highly sensitive, photo-stable caspase-3 fluorogenic substrate. Reported to detect less than 1 ng/ml of caspase-3. Also reported to detect capase-3 activity in intact cells by flow cytometry. Useful for high throughput screening applications. Excitation max: ~485 nm; emission max: ~535 nm.
