Application
Myelin basic protein (MBP) purified from bovine brain using SP-SepharoseTM high performance liquid chromatography and de-phosphorylated using Lambda protein phosphatase. Lambda protein phosphatase was inactivated, in the presence of 10mM sodium EDTA, at 65C for one hour. Purity was assessed at 95% using SDS-PAGE and Coomassie blue staining of 1μg of product. Developed for use in radioactive kinase assays.
