N,N-Dimethylnonylamine (1-(Dimethylamino)nonane) is a hydrophobic tertiary amine.[1]

Application

N,N-Dimethylnonylamine may be used as charge modifier for the separation of enantiomers of anti-inflammatory drugs.[1] It may be used for the synthesis of bromoethylnonyldimethylammonium bromide.[2]
