General description

The choice of coating material is based on the stationary phase of the GC. Carbowax 1500 is a very effective surface modifier for graphitized carbon black (GCB) adsorbents like carbopack C.
Ready-to-use coated packing for those wanting to pack their own columns.

Application

Gas chromatographic column packed with carbowax 1500 on Carbopack C was used for the analysis of methanol, ethanol, acetone and isopropanol in urine and blood samples.
