General description

SigmaScreen Poly D-Lysine (PDL) coated multiwell plates are coated with a synthetic PDL molecular weight range of 70-150 kDa. By coating the negatively charged polystyrene surface with PDL, the resulting positively charged surface has been shown to improve cell survival under low serum or serum-free conditions. SigmaScreen PDL coated multiwell plates can be used with a variety of cell lines including HEK-293 and mouse 3T3. For a more comprehensive listing of cell lines used with PDL coated multiwell plates, please refer to the PDL coated plate technical bulletin. Manufactured under ISO9002 in Sigma′s GMP facility, Sigma′s PDL coated multiwell plates are bioburden tested (fungal and bacterial) and endotoxin free.

HIF-1 is believed to play a critical role in hypoxia/ischemia (H/I) preconditioning protection in neonatal brain. Recently, it has been shown that hydrogen peroxide (H(2)O(2)) may contribute to H/I preconditioning in rat primary neurons. We hypothesize that H(2)O(2) produced during
