General description
Carnidazoles belong to the class of nitroimidazole compounds that are generally utilized for the treatment of various diseases in poultry, cattle and pigs.[1]
Application
Carnidazole may be used as an analytical reference standard for the determination of the analyte in:
- Eggs by liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS).[2]
- Environmental water samples by dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction (DLLME), followed by micellar electrokinetic chromatography (MEKC).[3]
