Gene Information

human ... ASPSCR1(79058)

General description

This gene is a candidate gene for alveolar soft part sarcoma (ASPS). It has been found that this gene is fused with transcription factor TFE3 gene in ASPS and also in renal cell carcinomas. Several alternatively spliced transcript variants of this gene have been described, but their full length nature has not been determined. (provided by RefSeq)

Immunogen

ASPSCR1 (AAH18722, 1 a.a. ~ 553 a.a) full-length recombinant protein with GST tag. MW of the GST tag alone is 26 KDa.

Glucose transporters (GLUTs) are responsible for transporting hexose molecules across cellular membranes. In adipocytes, insulin stimulates glucose uptake by redistributing GLUT4 to the plasma membrane. In unstimulated adipose-like mouse cell lines, GLUT4 is known to be retained intracellularly by binding

MYCN amplification and MYCN overexpression are poor prognostic factors in neuroblastoma. Tumors with unbalanced chromosome arm 17q gain are often associated with MYCN amplification; however, the relationship between chromosome 17 copy number status and MYCN expression is not known. We
