BLT-4 is a blocker of lipid transport-4 (BLT-4). BLT-4 is a specific, reversible inhibitor of scavenger receptor, class B, type I (SR-BI) mediated lipid transfer. The molecule blocks the cellular uptake and transfer of cholesterol ester from HDL.
