General description

Mouse BaF/3 cells (murine IL-3-dependent pro-B cell line) expressing mouse NKR-P1B protein.

Specificity

Clone 2D12 is a mouse monoclonal antibody that detects Natural killer cell surface protein NKR-P1B allele B6 (NKR-P1B) in murine species. It does not react with Nkrp1a, Nkrp1c, and Nkrp1f.

Application

Quality

Evaluated by Western Blotting in mouse spleen tissue lysate.

Western Blotting Analysis: A 1:1,000 dilution of this antibody detected NKR-P1B (CD161b) in mouse spleen tissue lysate.

Physical properties

~52 kDa observed; 25.03 kDa calculated. . Uncharacterized bands may be observed in some lysate(s).

Physical form

Purified mouse monoclonal antibody IgG2a in PBS without azide.

Storage and Stability

Stable for 1 year at -20°C from date of receipt. Handling Recommendations: Upon receipt and prior to removing the cap, centrifuge the vial and gently mix the solution. Aliquot into microcentrifuge tubes and store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles, which may damage IgG and affect product performance.
