General description
Recombinant, human fibroblast growth factor 10 (FGF-10) consisting of amino acids 137-208 and expressed in E. Coli. Mature human FGF-10, a ~20 kDa protein, contains a serine-rich region near its N-terminus sharing 93% amino acid sequence identity with mouse FGF-10 and 96% with rat FGF-10.
Biochem/physiol Actions
ED₅₀ = 20-100 ng/ml measured in a cell proliferation assay using 4MBr-5 monkey epithelial cells.
Warning
Toxicity: Standard Handling (A)
Physical form
Lyophilized from 0.2 µm sterile-filtered MOPS, Na₂SO₄, EDTA, DTT, BSA.
Reconstitution
Following reconstitution refrigerate (4°C) for short-term storage or aliquot and freeze (-20°C) for long-term storage. Stock solutions are stable for up to 1 month at 4°C or for up to 3 months at -20°C.
Reconstitute to 100 µg/ml in sterile PBS containing at least 0.1% human or bovine serum albumin.
