Application
CS-C Medium has been optimized for the culture of Human Umbilical Vein Endothelial Cells (HUVEC). It contains L-glutamine, sodium bicarbonate, and HEPES. It does not contain phenol red, serum or antibiotics.
Packaging
Packaged in PETG plastic bottles.
Reconstitution
Should be supplemented with 10% serum, Endothelial Cell Growth Factor (E 9640) and Endothelial Cell Attachment Factor (E 9765) for best results.

The selection of a nutrient medium is strongly influenced by 1] type of cell, 2] type of culture [monolayer, suspension, clonal] and 3] ° of chemical definition necessary. It is important to review the literature and more specific references for recommendations concerning medium, supplementation and physiological parameters required for a given cell.
