Related Categories

Specificity

Recognizes natural and recombinant forms of human Interleukin-6 with an affinity of 0.5 nM. Inhibits IL-6 binding to its receptors and blocks Interleukin-6 induced proliferation on B9 cells.

Immunogen

Recombinant human IL-6.

Application

Blocks Interleukin-6 induced proliferation on B9 cells: 20pg of antibody neutralizes the activity of 1U of IL-6. It is recommended that the sodium azide is removed from the antibody prior to use in this application.

Immunohistochemistry on frozen sections

Optimal working dilutions must be determined by the end user.
Detect Interleukin-6 using this Anti-Interleukin-6 Antibody, clone B-E8 validated for use in ELISA, FC, IH, NEUT.

Notch receptors determine cell fate by regulating transcription, an event mediated by the Notch intracellular domain (NICD), which is generated by proteolysis brought about by Notch-ligand interactions. Since Notch activation or exposure to interleukin (Il)6 have similar effects in chondrocytes
