Previously, postcoital antifertility effects of a number of aminoalcohols, including 2-(isopropylamino)-ethanol, have been demonstrated in rodents. In this experiment, we compared the antifertility activity of 2-(isopropylamino)-ethanol to the following analogs: hydroxyethylpiperidine, hydroxyethylpiridine, hydroxyethylpirrolidine, and hydroxyethylpirrolidone.
