Descripción general

Process up to at least 170°C in air. Process up to at least 270°C under nitrogen.Polypyrrole (PPy) is a conductive and highly stable polymer. It may be prepared by standard electrochemical technique.[1] PPy may also be prepared by reacting β-napthalene sulfonic acid (NSA) and ammonium peroxo-disulphate in aqueous medium.[2] The charges on the surfaces can be easily modified by doping the polymer during its synthesis.[1] Solubility and conductivity measurements of PPy doped with camphor sulfonic and dodecyl benzene sulfonic acid has been reported. Questions

  1. i want to coat this polymer on cotton substrate through in-situ polymerization. but it is insoluble in water. can you help me with the process of in-situ polymerization.

    1 answer
    1. In-situ polymerization usually starts with monomer, not polymer. While 578177 is polypyrrole, not pyrrole. Here is a reference paper that might be helpful: https://pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/acsomega.2c00327
