General description

Fluid A is a general rinse buffer designed in compliancewith the European Pharmacopeia (EP) 2.6.1, United States Pharmacopeia (USP) 71and Japanese Pharmacopeia (JP) 4.06. The product is a clear colorless liquid.

Each bottle has a screw cap with septum closure to reducethe risk of cross-contamination and optimize the disinfection procedures.

Application

Fluid A is used to rinse aqueous solutions during sterilitytesting by membrane filtration. It is also used to dilute soluble solids forthe same application and as a rinsing fluid for membrane filtration ofnon-sterile products.
The product is robust and suitable for:
  • Dissolving or diluting samples,
  • Reconstituting commercial microorganism sample.
  • As a transport medium for microorganisms
