About This Item
General description
Portable, self-contained compact air cleaning systems capture air contaminants directly at the source and safely remove them before clean air is released into the room. Optional castor base allows easy movement of system to locations throughout the lab. Fume hood shown in image not included.
Typical applications:
Filter Selection:
A powerful blower pulls contaminated air from the source through a series of filters and adsorption media to effectively remove particulates and vapors. Various filter media options are available and are matched to the specific contaminants to get the best results. All systems come with the prefilter (Z687383). Systems do not include filter media modules. See the Air Cleaner System Selection Guide for choosing appropriate filter media modules.
The HEPA Filter Modules are for applications where there are visible airborne particulates. The Primary Vapor Modules are for removing chemical vapors that have no dust or particulates. The Filter Media Refills are replacements for both the Primary Vapor and Hepa Filter Modules.
Specifications:
*: Velocities are based on operation with a clean poly-panel prefilter and an ASHRAE primary filter. Performance varies with other combinations.
**: Noise level is based on performance with 2 extractor arms and a clean poly-panel prefilter and a 95% ASHRAE primary filter. Noise levels may vary with other inlet and filter combinations.
Typical applications:
- Chemical vapors and dusts
- Cleaning/working with solvents
- Clean room applications
- Soldering and welding operations
