Application

This certified reference material (CRM) mix is intended for the use of LC coupled with GC-FID analysis to determine mineral oil hydrocarbons (MOH) in food or as migrants from packaging material or from equipment used for food processing.

This mix contains suitable internal standard components for quantification of both mineral oil saturated hydrocarbons (MOSH) and mineral oil aromatic hydrocarbons (MOAH), as well as markers for the start and the end of the corresponding MOSH and MOAH fractions. More detailed information about the specific role of each component can be found in the corresponding technical report of the European Joint Research Center (JRC).

We also offer a MOSH/MOAH retention time CRM mix to accurately cut and quantify subfractions of MOSH and MOAH.
