Application

Bradykinin, a nonapeptide, is a potent endothelium-dependent vasodilator that operates via bradykinin receptors B1 and B2. Adamantaneacetyl Bradykinin (NA-BK) and [DArg0,Hyp3,Thi5,8,DPhe7]-Adamantaneacetyl Bradykinin are used as a B2 bradykinin receptor antagonists.

Endogenous bradykinin (BK) is an established mediator of pulmonary inflammation, yet its role in lung disease is unclear. In the rabbit, injecting BK into the lung parenchyma elicits reflex hyperpnea, tachypnea, hypotension, and bradycardia by stimulating pulmonary sympathetic afferents. To

alpha-Thrombin (AT) and bradykinin (BK) are endogenous mediators that are released during an inflammatory response, and could have a synergistic effect on endothelial permeability. Human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVEC) were grown on Transwell membranes and then tested for alterations
