General description
Filter Code: BGCM.
Biopore™ CM membrane is a hydrophilic polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) membrane that becomes transparent when wet with aqueous media. It is used primarily to analyze cell growth, since the cells can be viewed by light microscopy as they grow. The membrane roll is shipped with a thick, paper-like interleaf to protect the membrane during transportation. While both the membrane and interleaf are white, the interleaf can easily be torn by hand.
