Specificity
Recognizes human Neurite Outgrowth Inhibitor Protein A/B/C (Nogo-A/B/C). The immunogen peptide is within the 25 amino acid region identified for the inhibition of neurite outgrowth (Chen et al. 2000; GrandPre et al. 2000; Goldberg & Barres 2000; Prinijha et al. 2000; Tessier-Lavigne & Goodman 2000; Nagase et al. 1998).The immunogen shows no significant sequence homology with other known proteins.
SPECIES REACTIVITIES: The immunogen peptide is 92% conserved in rat Nogo or rat foocen-m1.2 protein (Chen et al. 2000; GrandPre et al. 2000; Goldberg & Barres 2000; Prinijha et al. 2000; Tessier-Lavigne & Goodman 2000; Nagase et al. 1998). Reactivity with other species has not been confirmed.

Immunogen
A 13 amino acid peptide between the putative 2nd-3rd transmembrane domain of human Nogo-A (Chen et al. 2000; GrandPre et al. 2000; Goldberg & Barres 2000; Prinijha et al. 2000; Tessier-Lavigne & Goodman 2000; Nagase et al. 1998).
Application
Anti-Neurite Outgrowth Inhibitor A/B/C Antibody is an antibody against Neurite Outgrowth Inhibitor A/B/C for use in ELISA & WB.

Western blot: 1-10 μg/mL using ECL. The calculated molecular weight of Nogo-A is approximately 135 kDa. However a molecular weight of approximately 180 kDa has been reported for full length Nogo-A (Chen et al. 2000; GrandPre et al. 2000; Goldberg & Barres 2000; Prinijha et al. 2000; Tessier-Lavigne & Goodman 2000; Nagase et al. 1998).
ELISA: 1:10,000-1:100,000 using 50-100 ng control peptide per well.
Optimal working dilutions must be determined by the end user.
