Application

  • Alkynyl-naphthalimide Fluorophores: This study presents gold coordination chemistry with alkynyl-naphthalimide fluorophores and their applications in cellular imaging. The research demonstrates the use of 4-Methylpiperidine in the synthesis of these fluorophores, highlighting its role in specialty chemical manufacturing (Langdon-Jones et al., 2015).
  • Palladium-catalyzed synthesis of indole derivatives: 4-Methylpiperidine is used in a palladium-catalyzed one-pot three- or four-component coupling process, proving to be an effective catalyst and pharmaceutical intermediate in the synthesis of indole derivatives, which are significant in organic synthesis and pharmaceutical research (Hao et al., 2014).
