This item is not tested for use in any specific application, but is pressure rated at 500 psi. This tube will safely release pressure at or below 120 psi. A high pressure adapter is available for this kit (sold separately) that will release pressure at or below 180 psi. See product Z742415 for further details. A brief review of the literature did not offer any additional information regarding usage of this product in gas/liquid photo reactions. What are the benefits of High pressure adapters for Q-Tube™?
1 answer-
The Q-TubeTM reactors are affordable alternatives to a microwave synthesizer. Unlike the microwave system, which can experience hot-spots that can lead to charring of product, the Q-TubeTM system provides more uniform heat distribution.
