Application

Magnesium chloride hexahydrate can be used:
  • As a precursor to synthesize magnesium hydroxide nanoparticles for flame retardant applications.[1]
  • As magnesium source to prepare hydroxyapatite nanoparticles for biomedical application.[3]
  • To fabricate phase change materials for passive thermal control of lithium-ion batteries.[2]
