2,4-Bis[4-(N,N-diphenylamino)-2,6-dihydroxyphenyl]squaraine (DPSQ) is a symmetric squaraine that can be used as a green light absorbing donor. The characteristic absorption peak is at 720 nm. It can be used for a variety of electrochemical applications.

Application

DPSQ based dyes can be used for potential application in polymeric solar cells (PSCs), and organic photovoltaic cells (OPVs).
