Unique half area plates can help save on rare and expensive reagents by reducing the amount of reagent needed per well, while still being readable by most standard plate readers.

Features and Benefits

  • Corning® 96 Well Half-Area Microplate untreated polystyrene surface (hydrophobic) enables biomolecules binding.
  • Opaque black polystyrene walls.
  • Without lids; recommended working volume of 25 to 125 μL
  • Lower background fluorescent and reading below 340nm.
  • Minimal well-to-well crosstalk during fluorescent assays.
  • Applicable for both top and bottom reading instruments.
  • Binding capacity of approximately 100 to 200ng IgG/cm².
  • Standard microplate footprint and dimensions format.
  • Clear polystyrene enables visual clarity in fluorescent and luminescent measurements.
