General description
Unit opens without clamps or screws for easy removal of the solid bock of dry ice. Compact device connects directly to a liquid CO2 cylinder to produce a ready-to-use 250 to 350 gram block of dry ice. (Each 50 lb. cylinder makes from 10 to 16 blocks of dry ice).
Transparent polycarbonate body allows viewing of dry ice production and is never as cold as the dry ice, even when filled, allowing safe transport of the unit and contents around the lab.
A rugged 1.8 m (6ft) nickel-plated "pigtail" connects the Frigimat® Cub - Dry Ice Maker to the CO2 cylinder valve which is used to regulate gas flow. The system operates at very low pressure (displayed on the built-in dial gauge) and incorporates multiple pressure relief safeguards.
Fits US connections.
