Application

Chromium oxide finds application as green pigment material. It is also used as electrode material in lithium ion batteries and as precursor for synthesis of functional ceramics and oxides.
Used in a solid-state reaction to form the new ternary oxide, CrVMoO7, can be used in selective oxidation.
