Reaction of (trimethylsilyl)methyl isocyanide with (η2-formaldehyde)zirconocene complex is reported to yield insertion products.
Application
(Trimethylsilyl)methyl isocyanide may be used in the preparation of isocyanomethylenetriphenylphosphorane.
