General description

Recombinant, human insulin (zinc) expressed in P. pastoris. A peptide anabolic hormone produced by pancreatic β-cells.
Recombinant, human insulin (zinc) expressed in P. pastoris. Peptide anabolic hormone produced by pancreatic β-cells. Increases the synthesis of protein, fat, glycogen, and substrate oxidation in mitochondria. Interacts with membrane insulin receptor to cause its biological actions.
