This product is sufficient for ≤10 assays. When reconstituted with 10 ml deionized water, each vial will yield a solution with a pH of approximately 7.3, containing the following components: 0.3 mM 4-Hydroxyazobenzene-2-carboxylic acid (HABA), 0.45 mg/ml avidin, 0.3 M sodium chloride (NaCl), 0.01 M N-[2-Hydroxyethyl]piperazine-NN-[2-ethanesulfonic acid] (HEPES), a buffer with a pKa of 7.5, 0.01 M magnesium chloride (MgCl2), and 0.02% sodium azide as a preservative.
