- of the extraction buffer to extract proteins from Nicotiana benthamiana leaf
- of the mammalian tissue lysis buffer for homogenization of mice brain
- of the lysis buffer for lysing Caenorhabditis elegans to extract proteins
Biochem/physiol Actions
Sodium fluoride (NaF) is used as a major constituent in toothpaste, mouth rinses, and mouthwashes. It is used as a pesticide to control larvae and insects in barns, warehouses, houses, and storage areas. NaF also acts as an esterase inhibitor.
