Drierite™ can be used as a desiccant in the:
- Dinuclear nickel-catalyzed asymmetric vinylogous Mannich-type reaction of α, β-unsaturated γ-butyrolactam and N-boc imines to synthesize vinylogous Mannich adducts.
- Catalytic epoxidation of propylene glycol acetates to propylene oxide.
- Rare earth-alkali metal heterobimetallic complex-catalyzed enantioselective Aza-Michael addition of alkoxylamines to α, β-unsaturated carbonyl compounds to synthesize β-amino carbonyl compounds.
