Oxadixyl is a fungicide used primarily for the control of late blight disease in crops.

Application

Oxadixyl may be used as a reference standard for the determination of the analyte in vegetables, rice, fresh foodstuffs and dry animal feed by various chromatography techniques.

Ofurace, oxadixyl, and alachlor were studied for their effect on hepatic xenobiotic biotransformation in male rats by dosing i.p. with 1 or 100 mg/kg of chemical for 7 days. Ofurace decreased ethoxyresorufin-O-deethylase and aniline p-hydroxylase activities but induced ethoxycoumarin-O-deethylase activity.
