N-Ethylamphetamine is a stimulant drug of the phenethylamine and amphetamine classes. N-Ethylamphetamine, sold as the pharmaceutical appetite-suppressant Apetinil, is also abused as a recreational drug with a stimulant effect similar to that of its amphetamine and methamphetamine analogs.
