General description

Total ionic strength adjustment buffers (TISAB), is generally used for the microdetermination of fluorides.
Visit our Sensor Applications portal to learn more.

Application

TISAB IV was used as a metal ion complexing and ionic concentration adjustment agent, in an experiment investigating the increase in fluoride release, from glass ionomer cement, after coating the discs of glass ionomer with 10% silver fluoride (AgF).
