The product binds human IgM; but does not bind other human Igs.

Application

Anti-Human IgM (μ-chain specific)-FITC antibody produced in goat was used as secondary antibody in serodiagnosis of Lyme disease based on seroreactivity against Borrelia spirochaetes.

Actions biochimiques/physiologiques

IgM antibodies are present as pentamers in the serum and are produced in response to antigens.

Solution in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, containing 1% bovine serum albumin and 15 mM sodium azide
